NAVITEL® releases Q2 2017 map update for Europe
Europe Q2 2017 maps are now available to the users of Navitel Navigator.
Q2 2017 map update is available for the following 44 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and Vatican City State.
The updated maps contain 9 879 631 km of road graph, 4 920 962 POI, 708 327 settlements, 324 275 of which are provided with the detailed street network and support address search.
Austria
The video tracks from Vienna have been processed, including all transport interchanges, as well as all relevant attributive traffic information, speed cameras and other important information. All Points of Interest have been updated.
Based video tracks from Bregenz, Graz, Salzburg, St. Pölten, transport interchanges, relevant attributive traffic information, speed cameras, and all POI have been updated.
A new bypass road around the city of Lambach has been added.
Bulgaria
The map of Ruse has been added.
Corrections of intercity roads for the regions of Razgrad, Ruse and Targovishte have been made.
Address database in the cities of Plovdiv and Sofia has been improved.
New sections of the motorway in Smolyan and roundabouts for the cities of Sofia and Stara Zagora have been added.
United Kingdom
The address base is fully updated.
3D models of the following objects in London have been added: the Big Ben, the British Museum, the Buckingham Palace, the Courtauld Gallery, the Kensington Palace, the Nelson's Column, the Royal Albert Hall of Arts and Sciences, the Royal Opera House (Covent Garden), the Saatchi Gallery, the Shakespeare's Globe, the Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Victoria Station, The Wallace Collection, Westminster Abbey.
Germany
The update features newly added 3D models of the following objects in Berlin: Alte Nationalgalerie, Berliner Dom, Berliner Fernsehturm, Berliner Mauer Gedenkstaette, Bode-Museum, Brandenburger Tor, Kulturforum, Marienkirche, Messe Berlin, Museum Berggruen, New Synagogue, Pergamonmuseum, Reichstag Building, Rotes Rathaus, Staatsoper Berlin, Schloss Biesdorf.
Denmark
City bypasses with all interchanges have been added in Næstved, Slagelse.
Street search has been introduced in Billund, Bramming, Brande, Horsens, Varde, Vejle.
Continuation of the Fredrikssundmotorvejen has been updated with all interchanges.
Brande bypass with interchanges has been corrected (Ikast-Brande, Midtjylland, Denmark).
Section of Midtjyske Motorvej from Е45 to Brande has been updated (Ikast-Brande, Midtjylland, Danmark) together with the interchanges.
A freight transit graph has been created and now covers the whole country.
SPEEDCAMs have been updated.
Iceland
Toll-serviced tunnel has been added between Akranes and Reykjavik.
A freight transit graph has been created across the country.
Speed cameras have been updated.
Italy
The road network of Italy has been updated.
New roads, interchanges, and roundabouts have been added; directions of traffic and travel bans have been corrected.
Norway
A map of Norway's capital Oslo has been released with “every-building” specification.
Substantial changes have been made to Oslo routing. The crossroads and high-speed regimes of Oslo main streets have been corrected.
A freight transit graph has been created across the country.
Speed cameras have been updated.
Poland
A freight frame has been created.
Points with the names of settlements in the context of the country have been completely redesigned.
Each map includes residential and industrial infrastructure with address search and detailed road network with traffic direction, interchanges, roundabouts, and other relevant information.
