NAVITEL® releases Q3 2019 maps update for Europe
Q3 2019 map update is available for the following 44 countries:Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and Vatican City State.
Austria
The map of Austria contains 26 738 cities and settlements, 10 79 of which include address search. The map contains 53 495 POI. The total length of the road graph is 216 892 km.
- Updated information on traffic movement, speed limits, maneuvers, as well as on routing schemes for various types of transport on major highways;
- Added a new detour Drasenhofen.
Albania
The has been added on the map of Albania Q3 2019 a new part of highway №2 (Mbrostar Ura – Levan).
Belgium
Road network of Belgium was updated.
Bulgaria
The map of Bulgaria contains 5 518 cities and settlements, 616 of which include address search. The map contains 31 240 POI. The total length of the road graph is 94 411 km.
In the Q3 2019 release:
- The following cities have been updated: Sofia, Pernik and Plovdiv;
- The base of speed cameras (Speedcams) has been updated;
- Added detailed map Elin Pelin with the search "up to a building".
New 3D objects were added to the map in the Q3 2019 release: Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, National Palace of Culture,Dzhumaya Mosque, Evksinograd, Ovech Fortress, Saint George the Conqueror Chapel Mausoleum.
Bosnia and Herzegovina
The map of the Bosnia and Herzegovina contains 6 642 cities and settlements, including 16 that are available for address search. The map has 4 160 Points of Interest (POI). The length of the road graph is 131 195 km.
In the Q3 2019 roads and road junctions have been updated in the western part of the country.
Denmark
In the Q3 2019 release:
- Updated map with the search "up to a building" in the Kopenhagen;
- The base of speed cameras (Speedcams) has been updated.
Czech Republic
The map of the Czech Republic contains 15 301 cities and settlements, of which 6 257 nclude address search. The map contains 111 756 POI. The total length of the road graph is 165 826 km.
Updated information on traffic movement, speed limits, maneuvers, as well as on routing schemes for various types of transport on major highways of the Czech Republic.
Hungary
The map of Hungary contains 3 821 cities and settlements, of which 3 212 include address search. The map contains 54 993 POI. The total length of the road graph is 104 015 km.
New 3D objects were added to the map of Budapest: Hungarian National Gallery, Hungarian Parliament Building, Gellért Thermal Bath, Grand Synagogue, Hungarian National Museum.
Finland
The map of Finland contains 13 513 cities and settlements, of which 9 220 include address search. The map contains 15 814 POI. The total length of the road graph is 480 235 km.
Added detailed maps cities of Leppavirta and Sodankyla. The base of speed cameras (Speedcams) has been updated.
France
The map of France contains 68 292 cities and settlements, of which 35 026 include address search. The map contains 1 196 203 POI. The total length of the road graph is 1 266 531 km.
Updated the road network and address database across the whole France territory.
Germany
The map of Germany contains 91 744 cities and settlements, of which 83 492 include address search. The map contains 1 647 381 POI. The total length of the road graph is 1 101 648 km.
The road network of Germany has been updated in the Q3 2019 release.
Italy
The map of Italy contains 69 233 cities and settlements, of which 39 808 include address search. The map contains 58 857 POI. Total length of the road graph is 783 326 km.
Updated the road network across the whole the Italy territory.
Iceland
The base of speed cameras (Speedcams) has been updated across the whole of Iceland territory.
Latvia
New 3D objects were added to the map of Riga: Riga tower, House of the Blackheads , St. Peter's Church, Freedom of Movement.
Moldova
The updated map of Moldova contains 45 723 km of road graph, 25 236 POI, 1 646 settlements, 1 646 of which are provided with the detailed street network and support address search.
Updated the road networks as well as a database of enforcement cameras and alerts.
Netherlands
The updated map of Netherlands contains 148 357 km of road graph, 21 147 POI, 6 291 settlements, 5 994 of which are provided with the detailed street network and support address search.
The road network of Netherlands has been updated in the Q3 2019 release.
Norway
The map of Norway contains 18 811 cities and settlements, of which 1 438 nclude address search. The map contains 4 826 POI. The total length of the road graph is 223 263 km.
In the Q3 2019 release:
- Added new tunnels – Tittelsnesvegen and Jobergtunellen;
- The location of the marinas and the routes of the ferries of Shellnes-Lefolstranda and Yeriundshamn-Lefolstranda were clarified;
- Added new streets in the Asker city;
- The interchange of the R509 highway was update;
- Updated the information about road races at the airport of the Sola city.
Poland
The updated map of Poland contains736 138 km of road graph, 252 866 POI, 95 054 settlements, 55 059 of which are provided with the detailed street network and support address search.
In comparison with the previous Q2 2019 map release, the road length has been significantly increased with more than 6 000 kilometers added to the map of Poland. The address database of all cities and settlements was revised
Serbia
The map of Serbia contains 16 541 cities and settlements, of which 812 include address search. The map contains 22 828 POI. The total length of the road graph is 59 309 km.
A new part of A1 highway was added next to the Q3 2019 map of Serbia (Grdelica – Vladicin Han). And also, added a new section of Bavaniste bypass.
3D objects were added to the map of Belgrade: Church of Saint Sava, The Belgrade Fortress, Nikola Tesla Museum , National Museum of Serbia.
Spain
The map of Romania contains 43 701 cities and settlements, of which 23 820 nclude address search. The map contains 724 132 POI. The total length of the road graph is 779 709 km.
In the Q3 2019 release:
- Added a new bypass in the Arrecife;
- Displayed of the A-54 highway section in the Lugo region.
Switzerland
The road network of Switzerland has been updated in the Q3 2019 release.
Sweden
The base of speed cameras (Speedcams) has been updated.
Ukraine
The map of Ukraine contains 30 013 cities and settlements, of which 3 736 include address search. The map contains 129 262 POI. The total length of the road graph is 1 130 030 km.
In the Q3 2019 release:
- 11 settlements detailed "up to a building" have been added:
- Zaporizhia Oblast (Vasylivka, Volnyansk, Huliaipole, Kamenka-Dneprovskaya);
- Lviv Oblast (Bibrka, Glinyany, Khodoriv, Stebnyk);
- Ternopil Oblast (Kozova, Monastyryska, Pogaytsy); - A detailed road network has been created in 13 settlements in the Ternopil Oblast (Skalat, Shumsk, Vishnevets, Gusyatin, Friendship, Zavodskoe, Zalozhtsy, Golden Stream, Kozlov, Koropets, Mill-Podolsk);
- 123 streets were renamed in the settlements in the Kirovogradskaya Oblast, Ternopil Oblast and Kievskaya Oblast;
- The comprehensive analysis of Navitel Navigator app user feedback:
- added roundabouts in the city of Ternopil;
- indicated forbidden turn with the Naberezhno-Khreschatitskaya street and Yaroslavskaya street in Kiev city;
- made changes direction of the Kiev city at the crossroads on Voloshskaya and Nizhniy Val streets;
- added a new bypass in connection with close a railway bridge of the Bilopillia city.
Each map includes residential and industrial infrastructure of cities and settlements with address search and detailed road network with traffic direction, interchanges, roundabouts, and other relevant navigation information.
