NAVITEL® releases Q2 2022 maps update for Europe
Q2 2022 map update is available for the following 44 countries and territories include: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, Vatican City State, and Isle of Man.
Q2 2022 release maps of European countries contain 9 922 160 km of the road graph, 5 038 644 POI objects, 702 226 cities and settlements, of which 319 963 with address search and street-road network. 171 056 111 unique addresses are available for search.
Bulgaria
The map of Bulgaria contains 5 518 cities and settlements, including 620 that are available for address search. The map contains 32 451 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 95 949 km.
A large-scale update of the road network has been carried out:
- Main roads and highways, interchanges, new sections, speed limits, etc. have been updated
- Updated the road network in all major cities of the country
- Updated railways network
- Mapped all sections of tram networks
- Updated objects of the country's tourism infrastructure
Cyprus
The map of Cyprus contains 540 cities and settlements, including 227 that are available for address search. The map contains 16 862 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 18 567 km.
A large-scale update of the country has been carried out:
- Main roads and highways, interchanges, new sections, speed limits, etc. have been updated
- Updated buildings and address database in major cities
- Updated objects of the country's tourism infrastructure
- Updated POI gas stations as well as POI of some online retail and catering brands
Czech Republic
The map of the Czech Republic contains 15 301 cities and settlements, of which 6 259 include address search. The map contains 122 953 POI. The total length of the road graph is 169 840 km. There are 3 976 677 unique addresses available in the search.
- Overall vectorization of regions: Pardubický, Královehradecký, Vysočina, Středočeský and Praha, from data of our geodesists. Highways, first and second classes roads includes at this moment actual lane information, speed limits, manuever and vehicle restrictions and other important road information (e.g. - signposts)
- Added around 2200 new different types of POIs
Estonia
The map of Estonia contains 4 713 cities and settlements, of which 1 160 are available in address search. There are 44 074 POIs on the map. The total length of the road graph is 84 486 km.
- Updates have been made to the road network of the country, including changes based on user comments.
Finland
Updated map of Finland contains 13 513 cities and towns, of which 9 269 cities and towns are available in address search. The number of unique addresses for search is 321 526. There are 19 796 POIs on the map. The total length of the road graph is 481 273 km.
- New streets were digitized in settlements: Helsinki, Hamina, Kotka, Kouvola, Vantaa, Espoo, Kymintehdas, Hollola, Loviisa, Kilpilahti, Tervakoski, Forssa, Hyvinkää, Masaby, Kalvola, Noljakka, Mikkeli, Kettu, Katto, Kajaani, Sastamala, Keho , Tampere, Birkala, Arola, Nokia, Kaarina, Turku, Oulu, Ylivieska, Rovaniemi, Saarenkyla, Ikari, Kärki, Seinäjoki, Aanekoski, Hiltulanlahti, Vaasa, Jakobstad, Gerby.

- Fixed road geometry: E18 Ohikulkutie, 13 Lappeenrannantie, Ihamaantie, Kotkan valtatie, Taavetintie, Hankoniementie, Vaasantie, Salo, E63 Aura-Pirkkatie, Kainuuntie, Nådendalsvägen, E8 Kemintie, E12 Tuiskulansuora, Vaasa streets.
- Added lane and signpost on the highway: E12Helsinki-Tampere moottoritie, Vaasantie, Kainuuntie in Linatti, Nådendalsvägen.
Hungary
The map of Hungary contains 3 821 cities and settlements, of which 238 include address search. The map contains 4 785 POI. The total length of the road graph is 105 358 km.
- Checking and updating of tolled sections on new parts of highways, added signpost on the highway and the check the passability.
Latvia
The updated map of Latvia contains 100 304 km of road graph, 19 646 POIs, 8 793 cities and towns, of which 935 - with address search and road network.
- Updates have been made to the road network of the country, including changes based on user comments.
Lithuania
The map of Lithuania contains 17 044 cities and settlements, of which 772 are available in address search. There are 29 968 POIs on the map. The total length of the road graph is 85 104 km.

Malta
The map of Malta contains 97 cities and settlements, including 1 that are available for address search. The map contains 214 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 1 248 km.

North Macedonia
The map of North Macedonia contains 1 822 cities and settlements, including 76 that are available for address search. The map contains 3 742 POIs. The total length of the road graph is 20 128 km.
A large-scale update of the country has been carried out:
- Main roads and highways, interchanges, new sections, speed limits, etc. have been updated
- Updated the road network in some major cities of the country
- Updated railways network
Poland
The updated map of Poland contains 755 014 km of road graph, 253 206 POI, 95 054 settlements, 55 084 of which are provided with the detailed street network and support address search.
The road network in settlements has been completely redesigned:
- Lidzbark, Lidzbark (Działdowski, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Polska)
- Lubowidz, Lubowidz (Żuromiński, Mazowieckie, Polska)
- Brodnica, Brodnica (Brodnicki, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Polska)

- Franciszków, Mełgiew (Świdnicki, Lubelskie, Polska)
Updating the road network in the following voivodeships:
- Małopolskie, Opolskie, Śląskie, Dolnośląskie, Łódzkie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie.
Romania
The map of Romania contains 13 902 cities and settlements, of which 596 include address search. The map contains 48 346 POI. The total length of the road graph is 140 294 km. There are 585 281 unique addresses available in the search.
A large-scale update of data was carried out for all territory of the country, including:
- Main roads and highways, interchanges, speed limits, etc. have been updated , new road sections were added
- Updated buildings and address database in major cities
- Updated railways
- Mapped all sections of tram networks
- Updated POIs of petrol and natural gas fuelling stations, as well as POIs of chain stores and fast food restaurants
- Updated objects of the country's tourism infrastructure
Slovakia
The updated map of Slovakia contains 51 996 km of road graph, 20 236 POI, 3 839 settlements, 2 956 of which are provided with the detailed street network and support address search.
- Added new border crossing between Poland on main road I/68 by city Mníšek nad Popradom.
Each map includes residential and industrial infrastructure of cities and settlements with address search and detailed road network with traffic direction, interchanges, roundabouts, and other relevant navigation information.
