Installation of Navitel Navigator
Navitel Navigator application on iPhone and iPand is installed via the AppStore .
The Internet connection is required. Given the size of the setup file, it is best to use a Wi-Fi connection.
- On your device, go to the App Store .
- Switch to the Search tab, and there type Navitel Navigator. From the list of suggestions, select the Navitel Navigator app.
The app description screen opens.
- Tap the Get button, then Install.
The download process will start. Once the download is complete, the installation will begin.
- After the installation is complete, tap Open.
- Run the program in the trial mode or restore a purchase made earlier (see instructions for purchase restoration and trial mode activation).
If the trial period has expired and you do not possess the license key for the program, you should purchase it to continue using the application (see instruction for program and map license key purchase).
- After you activate the program, load maps (see instruction for map installation).
You can also use iTunes on your PC to install the program.
- Run iTunes on your PC.
- Download Navitel Navigator on your PC.
- Connect your iPhone or iPad to the PC, and then synchronize them.
- Disconnect iPhone or iPad from your PC.
- Run the program in the trial mode or restore a purchase made earlier (see instructions for purchase restoration and trial mode activation).
If the trial period has expired and you do not possess the license key for the program you should purchase it to continue using the application (see instruction for program and map license key purchase).
- After you activate the program, load maps (see instruction for map installation).
Method 1: Installation of the program from Google Play
Navitel Navigator application on Android devices is installed via the Google Play.
The Internet connection is required. Given the size of the setup file, it is best to use a Wi-Fi connection.
- Go to Google Play .
- In the search field, start typing Navitel Navigator. From the list of suggestions, select the Navitel Navigator app.
- On the description screen, go through description of the program, and then tap Install.
- The system informs you of possible program requirements. To proceed, tap Accept.
- The download process will start. Once the download is complete, the installation will begin.
- After the installation is complete, tap Open.
- Run the program in the trial mode or activate the license key by either restoring a purchase made earlier, purchasing the license key, or by activating the license key manually (see instructions).
- After you activate the program, load maps (see instruction for map installation).
Method 2: Installation of the .apk file
- Go to the Downloads section of the website, and then select the .apk file that fits your device (select the file that corresponds to your screen resolution, or the file with the "suitable for display of any resolution" note). Save it on your PC.
- Connect your device to PC, and then copy the downloaded files to your device. Disconnect the device from PC.
- On your device, with the help of a file manager, open the file that you downloaded, and complete all the installation steps.
- Run the application.
- Run the program in the trial mode or activate the license key by either restoring a purchase made earlier, purchasing the license key, or by activating the license key manually (see instructions).
- After you activate the program, load maps (see instruction for map installation).
If the file you downloaded has .zip extension, change it to .apk
From this section of the guide, you will learn how to restore Navitel Navigator for PND and Windows CE-based devices, if the program has been deleted.
You can restore a previously deleted program on your own in case you know the program license key. The key consists of 22 digital signs and has the following format "ХХХХХ-ХХХХХ-хххх-хххх-хххх". You can find the key in the RegistrationKeys text file, as well as on the license card, which comes with navigator package. The program license key is not indicated in any way anywhere else.
If the program was installed upon purchase of the device and you do not have the license key, please contact our customer support service.
If the program was not installed on the device upon purchase, please contact the customer support service of the device manufacturer.
To restore the deleted program:
- On our website, go to your personal account. Open the My devices (updates) section, and there in the Update column, click Available updates.
The list of available updates appears. - Connect the navigator to your PC.
- Download the archive with the program for you particular model of the device to your PC, and then extract the files.
- Copy the extracted files to your device.
- In your personal account, on the Available updates page, follow the Activation file link, and then under the name of the device that you want to restore, click NaviTelAuto_Activation_Key.txt.
The file will be downloaded.
- After the file is downloaded, put it inside the folder with the program on your device.
- Install the maps by following the instruction.
NOTE: Before installing the application on your device, please make sure the device has been added to the list of your devices in your personal account on our website.
NOTE: Please make sure that the name of the file is NaviTelAuto_Activation_Key.txt and it does not contain any extra symbols. If necessary, change the name. Operational systems may sometimes hide certain file extensions. If the name of the file does not have the .txt extension in the end, do not write it up.
If the application was installed on a memory or an SD-card different than that, on which you want to restore the program, it is necessary to reactivate the license key on this memory or an SD-card. To do so, please fill out the key deactivation form. In this form, in the Re-registration reason field, select the Flash card change option. Before sending the deactivation request, make sure the application works on the new memory card.
